Pierre Levicky’s newest restaurant Chez Jules Bistro on Cockburn Street follows on from the success of his other two restaurants in the city: Chez Pierre on Eyre Place and Chez Jules on Hanover Street. 

Following on from Pierre’s network of 140 restaurants called Pierre Victoire and Chez Jules, which he created in the 1990s, he has since gone on to re-invent himself with his third restaurant in the city.

Pierre made his return to Edinburgh in early February 2008, to open restaurant Pierre Victoire on Eyre Place in Edinburgh’s New Town before re-launching Chez Jules in Hanover Street. 
 
Pierre’s passion lies in cooking and serving great tasty food at affordable prices. Chez Jules Bistro is the simplest of concepts. Three tasty wines, white red and rose at only £11.50 per bottle, three steaks - 8oz rib eye, 8oz sirloin and an 8oz fillet steak with a choice of sauces and hand cut chunky ‘Pommes Pont Neuf’ – potato chips. As well as a simple selection of French dishes, from ‘Soupe à l’oignon gratinée’ - French onion soup with Gruyère cheese and croutons to ‘Moules à l’étuvée’ - Steamed mussels in white wine with shallots and garlic. Don’t forget the bread, water jug and saucisson waiting for you on arrival.
