“Bannerman’s is AWESOME! Had to caps lock to express to you just how AWESOME. Am I getting through? Bannerman’s is grungy and cool and has people with unwashed hair and I-don’t-give-a-hoot-what-you-think-of-what-I’m-wearing attitudes. Live music is a regular occurrence and the place doesn’t just draw bands from Scotland, the last time I was in a band from the USA was causing ear bleeds (in the good way). Beer, beards and banter galore.”

“I like this pub. It’s my kind of place. I felt comfortable hanging out amongst the grungey rockers and indie travelers. It has a healthy addiction to music (especially of the rockin’ variety) and the odd paraphernalia stuck all over this cavernous hideout add an element of the macabre. Which is great. What else? Girls with tattoos, pints of Heather ale, and four live bands for a fiver; what’s not to like?”
